SCHMINCKE – OIL BRONZE PIGMENT – 50ML

Description

Schmincke Oil Bronze Pigment powders come in a number of metallic colours and are perfect for creating iridescent metal effects on oil paintings or other pre-primed surfaces, such as wood or metal.  If you are working on absorbent surfaces, we suggest you pre-treat the surface with a turpentine substitute with some thinned bronze medium.

How to use: Mix 3 parts Oil-Bronze and 2 parts oil mediunwith a painting knife – shortly before application. If necessary, thin with a turpentine substitute.

It will dry to a wipe and water-resistant finish, however colour layers with remain soluble to turpentine or a turpentine substitute after drying.
