Royal Talens White Gouache is very popular with watercolourists who either use it as a highlight or as a way to disguise tonal mistakes. Opaque white gouache can be painted on top of watercolours to cover up mistakes, and watercolor can be gently painted over it, try a test piece first. Some artists use the white gouache for specific highlights like the twinkle in an eye or the sharpest reflection in a dew drop.
The pigments are PW6 Titanium White, together with a small amount PW5Â Zinc Mixing White which gives predictable opaque but blendable result.
