A dark, thin liquid, which acts as a quick drying adhesive for gilding. Can also be used for exterior varnishing. This is suited for first timers or hobbyists. Used as varnish this can yellow over time, this may need to be considered when using 14ct white gold (aka silver leaf) when fine blonde shellac should be used. If in doubt ask at the shop or consider one of our gilding workshops.
