These brushes are specifically designed for use with soft pastels and charcoal, offering a versatile range of techniques and styles. The Background kit is optimized for larger backgrounds and can even be used with dry crayons. The kit includes a brush for larger and more fluid strokes, as well as two interchangeable heads to suit different techniques. The first head is ideal for thicker textures, made of compact synthetic fiber with low elasticity, while the second head is made of sponge for creating delicate layers and shades. Additionally, the kit includes a velvet pad that can be worn on the fingers to remove excess pigment and ensure precise colour changes.
