Golden Artist Acrylics are known for its exceptionally smooth, thick buttery consistency.
It contains the largest assortment of unique pure pigments in a 100% acrylic emulsion vehicle available to the professional artist. These colours offer excellent permanency and lightfastness. There are no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners, or dyes added.
Each Heavy Body colour is formulated differently depending on the nature of the pigment. Colours that tolerate higher pigment “loads” dry to a more opaque, matte finish. Colours that are more reactive and do not accept high pigment loading dry to a glossy finish and tend to be more transparent. Heavy Body colours contain no additives, such as matting agents, therefore the gloss of each colour will be different.
Matisse Structure is an Australian made, rich impasto acrylic paint. Ideal for application with a brush or palette knife for striking textured effects. When applied undiluted by brush or knife, it gives a rich deep impasto finish.
The colours may be thinned with water for washes and watercolour effects. It is water resistant, permanent and totally flexible in light and heavy impasto applications. The range has the highest lightfast rating of ASTM 1 or 2 and is of archival quality. Each are fully compatible with a mediums, working together to create a highly versatile painting system for all artists.
