Cancellation by The PaintBox or The Teaching Artist:
- If, after booking, the event is cancelled by The PaintBox or by the teaching artist due to a COVID Lockdown, we will offer a full refund. If you prefer one of our Gift-Cards to be emailed to you for the sake of expediency, then we can arrange this for you. Please let us know your preference. Gift-Cards can be used online and in store and can be used to purchase art supplies and classes.
- If, after booking, the event is cancelled by The PaintBox or by the teaching artist because of the event falling below minimum numbers then the event will be rescheduled and if this is not possible, due to the circumstances of The PaintBox or its teaching staff, then we will offer you a full refund. If you prefer one of our Gift-Cards to be emailed to you for the sake of expediency, then we can arrange this for you. Please let us know your preference. Gift-Cards can be used online and in store and can be used to purchase art supplies and classes.
Cancellation by a Student
Refund is to be by way of Credit
- Cancellation more than 30 days before the event:Â 100% refund by way of credit (see below).
- Cancellation less than 30 days, but more than 14 days:Â 90% refund by way of credit (see below).
- Cancellation 14 days or less, no refund but there is an opportunity to find a substitute and transfer your ticket, see below.
- Cancellation must be in writing and should be emailed to mail@thepaintbox.com.au
- Refunds are by way of credit by the provision of one of our Gift-Cards which can be used online and in store and can be used to purchase art supplies and classes.
- The effective date is the date of the class, workshop or event.
Substitution
- If, after booking, you are unable to attend an event, you are welcome to nominate someone else to attend in your place. We have created a waitlist on our Eventbrite Tickets and a facility to transfer tickets via Eventbrite, therefore this may be of assistance in filling the space created by a cancellation
-  Substitutions can only be made up to 24 hours before the start of the event.

- Fees are not refunded for lessons that are missed. However, you are welcome to bring a friend or family member to make up for the missed class on your next attendance.
COVID-Safe and Booking With Confidence
We know that the world has changed and there is always going to be uncertainty around events in the age of a pandemic, so here is our approach to making this work:
- The event will be fully COVID-safe and compliant above and beyond any basic government health requirements to do what we reasonably can to protect your health and safety and that of all attendees. That will include appropriate social distancing and any other measures that regulations provide for.
- COVID Lockdown cancellation: if the event is cancelled the event will be rescheduled and if this is not possible circumstances of The PaintBox or its teaching staff we will offer you a full refund.
