MABEF M23 HALF BOX EASEL

The Mabef M23 half box easel is the half box version of Mabef’s traditional French easel and combines an easel, sketchbox, canvas carrier, and some clever “foldability” into one box. This one is perfect for field work, it’s lightweight and compact, yet solid and durable. The M23 provides even further portability due to it’s half box style and clever folding wooden palette. The easel height and canvas carrying capacity remain the same as the larger M22.

Mabef’s Sketchbox Easel is made of oiled beechwood, with brass hardware and a leather handle. Its legs adjust to balance the load, even on rough and uneven terrain. It holds paintings up to 85cm high. The canvas holder adjusts to any angle, from vertical to horizontal. Its sketchbox is tin-lined with a compartmented, slide-out accessory drawer and a lid that slides off to become a wooden palette. More storage space is available underneath the drawer. Maximum easel height is 183 cm. It folds down to only 30 cm —x 56 cm —x 15 cm. It weighs just 5 kg.

Our preferred logistics supplier is Australia Post. Occasionally the weight or dimensions of your parcel exceed the restrictions applied by Australia Post. Our preferred logistics provider then is Toll. Depending on the contents of the parcels varying surcharges may apply to the shipping applied to your order. For example Dangerous Goods classified products or products over 1.5 metres in length will incur a minimum surcharge of $60.
