Watersoluble 6B ArtGraf pencils are made in Portugal by Viarco, this hexagonal pencil contains an extremely thick 6B lead of 5mm diameter. The lead is made of Viarco’s water-soluble graphite. Used dry or with minimal water, it offers a rich and dense black; used wet, it is capable of soft greys and washes. Offering an extensive scale of graphite greys, Viarco ArtGraf Watercolour Graphite is a versatile painting medium – apply a wet brush directly onto the line, if you desire deep, intense blacks use a minimal amount of water and increase to more subtle brighter and more transparent greys the more water you add.
